Color Challenge- Hello Birdie Layout

Hello paper lovers, 

Here is a layout I made to enter into a color challenge- Make it Monday #64 at Inspired Papertrey Ink & Nicole Heady. Here is the color pallet I chose for my inspirations...though some of those other color choice were temping too.

 Here is my layout.

The bird and the tag were cut on the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge. The branch was cut from Create A Critter. In the white space I will be putting an 8x8 photo. Probably of myself, I had this page in mind for my own scrapbook. 

I used a sentiment from Papertrey Ink on the tag from the Movers and Shakers Sentiments. I only stamped part of the sentiment from this stamp.

Below I added a sentiment on top of the layout to see if I liked the way it look. 

What do you think, with or without the "Life is beautiful!" sentiment?

I might replace the green strip of paper with a ribbon and bow once I lay the picture down and see how the placement will work together.
