Awesome Wonderful You Card

I know its been a while since I posted something. I've had a lot going on lately. Anyways, I'm just glad I was able to craft today and get some therapy out of it- LOL.

I made this card to enter into the Make It Monday Challenge #79 Fabric Die Cut at Capture the Moment (Papertrey Ink).  There is a card inspiration for the challenge and a requirement to use a die cut made of fabric. I cut a 3 layer flower with felt using a My Creative Time flower die. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink and is from the Movers and Shakers stamp set. I like the way the card turned out. I was not sure about the colors together initially, but I like it.

Here is my inspiration:

Time To Relax In Your Flip Flops

Happy Memorial Day everyone!

I have a fun colorful summer card I made today. I made 3 versions of this card below. One has an Action Wobble on it and the other two I tweaked the sketch. The flip flops where cut on my Gypsy with the Pink Journey cartridge.

I will enter this Action Wobble card in a challenge at Wobble Wednesdays where the theme is summer.

The next two cards I will enter into the sketch challenge at Sketches By Carly and the I love Summer challenge at My Sheri Crafts. I will also enter this card at Docerela Creations- What You Love challenge (I love wearing nothing but flip flops during the summer). Here is the Carly sketch.

Here are my cards.

I used some liquid pop dot glue for the strap on the flip flops to give it some dimension.
I added some green iRock gems for sparkle.

My computer generated sentiment is perfect. The tag is cut from Cricut Art Philosophy.

I hope you like my cards. Thanks for stopping by. Have a blessed week. If your ready to finally splurge and purchase the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge you can shop through my CTMH button at the top of bottom of my blog.

Guy Puppy Card

Hello paper lovers,
I made this cute card for my husband's birthday. It's so challenging for me to make manly cards for grown men. Most of my cartridges and supplies are very girly girl. But I managed this cutie pie card anyway. The puppy is cut from Animal Kingdom and the face was stamped with a Peachy Keen Face Stamp. The pretty Lagoon (turquoise) colored ink is from Close To My Heart. I  stamped the mouth first and then each of the eyes separately because the stamp was too big for the size of the dogs face, so the eyes had to be stamped closer together. Then I decided to make a second dog that I thought was sooo cute too, also cut from Animal Kingdom. So now I have an extra card for my stash.

I will enter the first card in the challenges at
1. Peachy Keen Stamps Blog - challenge 17 May sketch
2. Little Claire's Designs -Male Theme.

Popsicle on a Stick Card

I made this cute little ice cream card for a challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps - Anything on a Stick (use a stick, straw, stickpin, etc. on your project). The Popsicle is cut at 3.5 inches from the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge and glued to a real popsicle stick. I used an EK Dottie Wave punch and MPS sentiment from Sweetest Cupcakes.

April Showers

Welcome back everyone!

I made this super cute card for a challenge over at Cardz TV. The them is April Showers (umbrella, rain boots, rain puddles, showers, etc). I've be wanting to use the umbrella cut on my Paisley cartridge for a while now and LOVED it. I will be using that cute more often now. I printed my own custom sentiment on a piece of velum and attached it to the card. I love the way velum looks on a project and since I didn't have a stamp with quite the right sentiment I was going for I decided to make my own. I cut the umbrella at 3.5 inches. I also added some iRocks jewels on the points of the umbrella where the end of the metal would be.

She is...layout

Happy Monday!
Today, I am showing a layout I made for myself. Yes, every now and then I make a layout about me. Hehehe. I love the way this turned out. My colors and theme are meant to go with the dress I was wearing. I just need to print my pictures and add them on. The white rectangle and squares are where the pictures will be placed. One of the things I like best about this layout is the magenta colored ribbon you see on the left page. It was done using a Sew Easy Ribbon Tool, which I heart. It is very easy to use. I cut the leaves and flower from Cricut Life's A Beach. The journal tag and the banners were cut with dies from MCT. I used an EK Scallop Dots border punch on some areas. I cut the letter from Songbird (the font on there is gorgeous). I will be running the journal tag through my computer for a personalized sentiment (I will put an update picture on this post when that is done). I hope you like it. Ta da...

Today  I made a sweet cupcake card for the DL. Art 1 Year Blogaversary challenge. You were suppose to use the colors pink, green, brown and the number 1.

I Made two of these cards. On the second one I did not put a number one on it so I can give it to my cousin who turns 29 next week. I will enter the challenge at  Die Cuttin Divas as well where you were required to use a sketch and a cupcake. They where having a blog hop.

I use a light pink color Stickles to cover the whole number ! and then outlined it in a magenta color Stickles.

Here is the second card I made without the number 1 on it.

Challenge Me Monday- #92 Warming Up With Hot Cocoa

I am very excited to share this card I made using my Love You A Latte Cartridge. That cart is AWESOME. I love it and used it for the first time finally. I bought some Scrappy Mom stamps that go perfect with this cartridge too. I will be sending this card to my friend who fell at work, got injured and has to go back to work next week (so I thought this sentiment was perfect). I will slip a packet of hot cocoa in the envelope too.

I made this cocoa cup to enter into a challenge at Fantabulous Cricut.

Here is the newest card I am in love with and I absolutely heart the sentiment too! I will be posting a similar card this week will more details for something sweet I will be entering, stay tuned...

Challenge- Shape Card & Halloween

I am entering this card into two challenges:

  • Shaped Sketch Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
  • Delightful Sketches

I cut the card base from Wild Card and two circle layers. I stamped the edge of the card base with a wheat stamp I had from Prima. Doesn't it sing Autumn? I also stamped the word Halloween on top with a MPS stamp. I cut the smallest circle into four parts and used two of each color I cut. I cut a scallop from Mini Monograms (I'm so glad I purchased this cartridge, I turned it down once and later realized I did need such a cartridge). I cut the big pumpkin on my Gypsy from Gypsy Wanderings (I have been finding so many handy things on GW). I was going to add some Stickles on the yellow "light up" face parts, but I ended up liking it plain. I made hand cut grass. I used an EK Pumpkin punch for the line of pumpkins--it's such a cute punch. I also colored through the cutout parts around the edge of the scallop onto the inside of the card with a Copic marker so when the card is closed it doesn't look so plain with the white showing through. Hope this card gets your Halloween juices flowing.

Don't forget to join my blog before you go, so you will know when I start doing my GIVEAWAYS and can play along!!!
Have a Crafty day.
