Guy Puppy Card

Hello paper lovers,
I made this cute card for my husband's birthday. It's so challenging for me to make manly cards for grown men. Most of my cartridges and supplies are very girly girl. But I managed this cutie pie card anyway. The puppy is cut from Animal Kingdom and the face was stamped with a Peachy Keen Face Stamp. The pretty Lagoon (turquoise) colored ink is from Close To My Heart. I  stamped the mouth first and then each of the eyes separately because the stamp was too big for the size of the dogs face, so the eyes had to be stamped closer together. Then I decided to make a second dog that I thought was sooo cute too, also cut from Animal Kingdom. So now I have an extra card for my stash.

I will enter the first card in the challenges at
1. Peachy Keen Stamps Blog - challenge 17 May sketch
2. Little Claire's Designs -Male Theme.

Down On The Farm Challenge- Have A Moo-velous Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here is a fun card I for My Craft Spot' challenge. The theme was "Down on the farm". I cut my farm scene from Nate's ABC at 3.75" and the cow is cut at 2" from Animal Kingdom. I used a black gel pen and inked the edges of cut marks and edge on the cow to give it more detail. This is the first time I used either of these cuts and I think they look fantastic.

I use they eye on one of these Peachy Keen Stamps.

Be sure to check out my entire blog...I've posted a lot today :0)

Challenge- Themes Native American, Thanksgiving, Turkey...

Here is a card I made for some challenges.

Over at Cooking with Cricut the theme is Thanksgiving.
http://www.cookingwithcricut.com/2011/11/challenge-60-lets-talk-turkey.html

At Die Cuttin Divas the theme is Native American, which is in honor of Navtive American Heritage Day on November 26th.

Also, I am entering this card in a challenge at My Sheri Crafts Challenge.

I made the frame on the card from Elegant Edges and the brown border as well. I cut the tag from Art Philosophy and stamped it with the phrase "Indian Summer" and hand wrote Thankful. My turkey is from Animal kingdom cut at 2.5 inches and jazzed up with some markers. I cut the Indian girl from Paper Doll Dress Up at 4 inches. I stamped her face with some PKS. I have to say this card is a little bit out of my style. I wanted to try something new by cutting a background mat from the Cricut into a shape or something other than your standard rectangles and squares. I also usually punch my borders with a punch, this time I cut one from a cartridge. Its taking its slow time to grow on me...perhaps we'll get there lol.

Bird Card Challenge

Here is a cute quick and easy bird card I made. Great for mass producing. The bird is from Animal Kingdom. I did not have SFTN cartridge, so I improvised.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge --Fish Bowl Card

Hi,
I'm so excited to share this card with you. I made it for the Let's Face it Friday Challenge-Shape Card, over at Peachy Keen Stamps.

I cut everything form Animal Kingdom and used Acetate paper for the  card base so it would look like a real glass fish bowl. It turn out AWESOME and I LOVE it. The challenge over on Peachy Keen required me to use a shape card and Peach Keen Face stamps. I chose some stamps from the Create A Critter medium size set. I love how versatile the stamps are from Peachy Keen. I did some inking and Copic techniques on the fish to give them some texture and dimension. See my video for some more details about the card.
