Challenge- Simon Says Stamps

I have a pretty Valentine's Day card I made for a sketch challenge at Simon Says Stamps. I just love the way it turned out. There was so much beautiful inspiration from the designers to get my creative juices flowing on this one. I hope you like it as much as I do. I found a brand new pack of embellishments from my Valentines collection that I never used. I knew at first glance I wanted to use the cute little cup of tea. I'm glad I did because I love how it all came together.

I embossed the purple card layer with the Cuttlebug Conversation Hearts folder. I added 3 mini buttons at the bottom to match the color of the paper because I needed them as part of the sketch, but I wanted them to not be so dominant on the card and instead fade into the paper a bit. I cut the scallop with a Spellbinder die and inked the edges with a sea green ink.
