Bird Card Challenge

Here is a cute quick and easy bird card I made. Great for mass producing. The bird is from Animal Kingdom. I did not have SFTN cartridge, so I improvised.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #89

Hi, I am entering this card into the Cricut Cards Challenge #89. Theme was a kids jungle birthday card. I LOVE how it turned out.

I used a Stampendous animal print stamp to make the cute zebra stripes across the card. The zebra is cut from Create A Critter at 3".
Quick tip: You can color rhinestone jewels with your Copic markers. The one on the card was colored with VR 09 Fushia, because I only had pale pink rhinestones and I wanted a different shade of pink. GOTTA LOVE MY COPICS!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge #179

I am entering this card for a challenge at Cute Card Thursday. It is of sketch #179. I like how the colors end up looking together. Considering I did this card backwards by coloring the image first and then picking the paper. Sometimes I like to work that way. But I'll tell you, its much easier to pick the papers first then chose matching Copic markers to color your image.

Challenge- Mojo Monday 205

I made this card to enter into the Mojo Monday 205 challenge. I love how it turned out, the colors, the punches and the fairy.

Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge 59

I made this card to enter in the Peachy Keen Sketch Challenge 59. I had a hard time capturing the foil and glitter beauty of this paper with my camera. It looks way cuter in person.

My Pink Stamper- Card Donation

MPS, is calling on her members to donate a card to a breast cancer survivor event that is coming up in Wisconsin. I am glad to help! Here is the card I made. I used Cricut Wild Cards to make the card and matching envelope at 8 inches. I placed 3 squares on the card using my Gypsy so I could cut holes out and have a window I could stamp butterflies through.

In the inside it says "Don't tell God how big your problems are, tell your problems how big God is."

Sew Many Cards Challenge #66

There is a challenge over at Sew Many Cards for you to make a card with your border punches. Well, OMG--I LOVE border punches, so this challenge is right up my alley. This is the card I made. It is for a birthday card for a teenager or adult. I love the way it turned out and the stack of paper I used is fabulous.

My PURPLE Cricut Imagine!

Drum roll...here is a PURPLE Cricut Imagine!

I finally decided to buy the Cricut Imagine. I was on the fence about it for a while. But then I was thinking when I start back making goody bags for my kids class and I'm talking about 65 bags, it would be nice to have the Imagine to cut one complete image and smack it down on the bags base. When I used my Expression to do it, it took forever to layer 65 images together.

I painted the Imagine by prepping the plastic first with some Clear Primer spray paint by Valspar for plastic. I was then able to use any spray paint and I chose a BEAUTIFUL shade a lavender purple by Krylon called Gum Drops. I AM IN LOVE WITH HOW IT LOOKS NOW.

Cricut From My Kitchen- Dirty Dishes Dishwasher Magnet

I made this cute magnet to go on my dishwasher because sometimes I may load the dishwasher with dirty dishes, but do not run the cycle until I get a full load of dirty dishes (look at me conserving water and electricity--the environment thanks me. LOL). This magnet serves as a reminder to my family or guest that the dishes inside the dishwasher are dirty still and are not to be used. I LOVE it. It came out so cute. The silverware was cute using some silver foil paper and it looks so realistic. The cuts are on the cart From My Kitchen and I believe I cut the scallop border from Accent Essentials. I laminated the image in my Xyron and then ran it through my Xyron a second time but using the magnet/laminate on the next time. I hand wrote "Dirty Dishes"...I guess I could have cut the letter out with my cricut, but I wanted to get done asap and I hate working with such small cut letters!

Sew Many Cards Challenges- Summertime

Here is my Summer Card!

It came out so cute, I love it. I used the Cricut Cartridge Life's A Beach for this card. I'm so glad I bought that cart. I've have been able to use it for a lot of stuff. I thought this would make a great card for my kids swim instructor. I did some inking and used some markers to give some more detail to some of the pieces. Hope you like it.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge --Fish Bowl Card

Hi,
I'm so excited to share this card with you. I made it for the Let's Face it Friday Challenge-Shape Card, over at Peachy Keen Stamps.

I cut everything form Animal Kingdom and used Acetate paper for the  card base so it would look like a real glass fish bowl. It turn out AWESOME and I LOVE it. The challenge over on Peachy Keen required me to use a shape card and Peach Keen Face stamps. I chose some stamps from the Create A Critter medium size set. I love how versatile the stamps are from Peachy Keen. I did some inking and Copic techniques on the fish to give them some texture and dimension. See my video for some more details about the card. Challenge- School Card

Hello, I found a cool blog today, Cards by Jovan and there was a challenge to make a school card. I thought, YIPPE! I can't seem to get enough of the school theme right now. LOL. I made a school house cut from My Community cart and a bus cut from Doodlecharms (a must have cart with tons of useful stuff that is super easy to layer). I made the sentiment on the front on my computer and cut the edge with a border punch by EK called Binding Edge---LOVE it. I added a "road" made of black dashed ribbon (l heart that kind of ribbon). After deciding my sentiment, I thought a real bell in the school house bell tower would be so cool and cute. I must say it came out SUPER cute and realistic. In order for the bell to lay right you need to pop up the front layer of the house on some pop dots. So if you shake the card it rings (rocks!). I also used some iRocks on the bus and I didn't have any red ones, so I colored it with a red Copic marker and it worked like a charm. I went back and added some glossy accents to the window you can see from the before and after picture how the Glossy Accents turned the windows I had colored with a white gel pen pink. I think it looks cute though like some curtains hanging in the window. TTYL

Love Birds Wedding Card

I like how this wedding card came out. I can't wait to mail it out to the Newlyweds.

I cut the birds from Winter Frolic. I used a shinny black paper for a layer on the base of the card, and I must say I like how the shinny black looks. It does make it harder to stamp on though. I had to heat emboss the ink on and used white embossing powder. I used the EK Scrolls punch and LOVE the way it looks. I used some silver iRocks for the eyes of the doves. I think it gave it a nice elegant touch. I used a combination of MPS stamps for the sentiment.

Kate's ABCs Cute Shoes Card

I have been wanting to cut the shoes from the Cricut Kate's ABCs cartridge for a while now. Why I hadn't done it sooner is beyond me. Anyways, I needed a baby card for my friend who is having a baby girl so now was the perfect time. I was going to use the New Arrival cartridge or Baby Steps, but I opted for Kate's ABCs and I'm glad I did because I love it.

I cut the shoes at 3"
I used an EK border punch called Wavy Dots...I think it was called.
The stamp is from MPS

Flower Pot Card

OMG, this card is ADORABLE!!! I hand cut the flower pot and used a Martha Stewart Border punch on the pot. The flowers were cut from Cricut Mother's Day Bouquet (various flowers were used). I layered the flowers and put brads in the center. I added some ribbon around the pot. The bunch of flowers can be pull out to reveal a card with a sentiment stamped on it that says "If friends were flowers, I'd pick you."

Back to School Card

I made this cute card for a teacher. I LOVE the way it turned out.
I used:
craft cardstock
Doodlecharms for the bus cut at 2.5"
I made the white paper with the turquoise lines and the sentiment on it on my computer
I used the EK punch called Binding
Black ribbon with white dashes for the road
A red brad for the tail lights and a iRock bling for the headlights
Cuttlebug embossing folder Swirls
A red marker to write the A+
Yellow and black paper for the bus

The inside sentiment was typed on my computer.

My Pink Stamper Challenge

Hello, the challenge was to make a card that reflects your style and incorporate things that reflect your style. Well I love anything purple or butterflies so that was a must for this challenge. I also heart my border punches. Two new products I've been enjoying lately are the Pearl Pens and Action Wobbles, so I incorporated those too. The Action Wobble makes the butterfly look like its actually fluttering by to say HI. I also used some  iRocks bling. LOL. I also used some lavender purple Stickles to glitz up the butterfly's antennas.

I cut the butterfly from the Floral Embellished cartridge and LOVE it! The paper is from a K&Company stack (I can't remember the name), the punch is a Martha Steward butterfly punch and the sentiment is from My Pink Stampers set called Buggy Punnies.

Hope you like it.
