Splish Splash Bye Summer Card

Okay, I had to make one more card today because I really wanted to play along in the challenge at My Craft Spot, one more summer challenge. You need to include water on your summer themed project. I embossed the sentiment and I added black Glossy Accents to the flamingo's eye to give it dimension. I love the simple less is more look of this card. It reminds me of a Smash book or Project Life creation.

I will enter this card in to the challenge at:
1. My Craft Spot Monday Challenge- #67 Splishy Splashy

Butterflies & Bows Are Wishing You...

Back again with a card I made today. I used a zipper die from Papertrey Ink that once the zipper is pulled off will reveal a hidden sentiment. I cut the flowers out of felt with the My Creative Time flower dies. I punched the butterfly out of vellum with a Martha butterfly punch. I decided the bottom was too bare, so I added some pearls with a Viva Decor Pen. I like how this card turned out.

I will enter this card into the challenge at 3 Girl Jam- Challenge #1 Butterflies & Bows.

Awesome Wonderful You Card

I know its been a while since I posted something. I've had a lot going on lately. Anyways, I'm just glad I was able to craft today and get some therapy out of it- LOL.

I made this card to enter into the Make It Monday Challenge #79 Fabric Die Cut at Capture the Moment (Papertrey Ink).  There is a card inspiration for the challenge and a requirement to use a die cut made of fabric. I cut a 3 layer flower with felt using a My Creative Time flower die. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink and is from the Movers and Shakers stamp set. I like the way the card turned out. I was not sure about the colors together initially, but I like it.

Here is my inspiration:

Children's Summer Holiday Challenge Card 4

My daughter (Little Miss Crafty) is back today with another card she made to enter into the Kids Challenge over at Simon Says Stamps Challenge. Here is the card she made. She is very big on Hello Kitty and this card is similar to one she previously made. This one features a ticket edge card base and a popped up flower. She loves pop dots, so I let her use all my cheapy ones from the $1 store that I do not prefer to use on my projects. Thanks for stopping by. She is really enjoying all the sweet comments, who knew how good that would make her feel :0) .

Surprise Pocket Card

I was not sure which way I wanted to go with this card at first. I knew I wanted to make a tag and watercolor it with my Close To My Heart Ink Pads, but that is all I know I wanted to do. Once I was finished with the tag everything else fell into place. I really like the effect of watercolors, whether you use real watercolor paint, watercolor pencils or the ink from the lid of your ink pad. The neat shaped tag is cut at 4" from the new Cricut Artiste Cartridge. The flower stamped I used is from Close To My Heart and the sentiment and white embossing powder are from Papertrey Ink. The ric rac ribbon can be found for a $1 at Michaels. I used white embroidery floss to stitch on the pocket.

I will be entering this card into the challenges at:
1. Capture the Moment- #77 Ink Pads as Watercolors
2. Simon Says Stamp Challenge- Bingo (Ribbon/Free/Blooms)

If you still need to purchase your very own Cricut Artiste Cartridge or Art Philosphy Cartridge, you can purchase HERE.

Children's Summer Holiday Challenge Card 2

Little Miss Crafty (my daughter) back here with another card she made to enter into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge. After punching these butterflies in several color papers, she staggered three butterfly layers on top of each other and then popped the butterflies up to give it some dimension.

Sorry I couldn't rotate the picture...my computer was acting crazy.
